The point of this blog

err....Introduction.....ok...I am your average(sorta) Canadian chick. Except that....I am obsessed with the Chinese language and culture. I'm more Asian than most Asians I've met - despite being your average Caucasian. I'm majoring in Linguistics at University....which gives me lots of excuses to watch Taiwanese dramas - they're related to language =P. So anyways, I'm obsessed with Thai dramas (can't get enough of all the bitchy women!) and frequently read/watch/do everything I can possibly do in Mandarin. So....this blog seeks to um....keep a record of my language learning journey. Who knows, maybe this blog will help other learning Mandarin. (Damn, what a boring summary. Note to self: in the future, write a better intro - this sucks)
